London born and now calling Melbourne home after a stint in LA, DJ Hijack has quickly gained the reputation as one of Melbourne’s best, able to rock any dancefloor any time across multiple genres including RnB, Hip Hop, Reggae, Dancehall, UK Garage, Drum ‘n’ Bass and house.. Known for his quick mixes and skills as a turntablist, his ability to cut and scratch all types of music has seen him become one of Melbourne most in demand DJs with residencies at Entourage Melbourne, Bond Bar, Lux, Emerson, Section 8, BlueBar, Lucky Coq and 56 Bricks and guest sets all over town.

Growing up in Southampton, Hijack’s first taste of dance culture was through the underground acid house raves around his home town, which led to initially collecting hardcore records before discovering a passion for early Jungle and Drum ‘n’ Bass and playing his first gigs not long after. The Artful Dodger who handpicked Hijack to join their seminal night REWIND where they performed with up and coming local MC and singer Craig David. After a decade long run playing exclusively UKG the night moved toward a more RnB and hip hop music policy with Hijack once again adapting his sound and proving he could rock the party regardless of genre.
